The first chapter of my dissertation on native vs invasive crayfish competition and desiccation tolerance got accepted in Biological Invasions.

I attended the WV/OH/PA Chapter Meeting for the American Fisheries Society and presented our research on sampling effort required to detect invasive Silver carp in the Ohio River Basin.

I began working with Dr. Brent Murry and Dr. Christopher Rota at West Virginia University.

I successfully defended my doctoral dissertation.

I attended the Southern Division American Fisheries Society Conference in Chattanooga, TN, where my presentation on colonization-extinction dynamics of F. marchandi won runner-up for Best PhD Student Presentation.

I was awarded the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Conservation Scholarship.

I was awarded the James and Carol Hendren Outstanding PhD Student Fellowship.

My first-author manuscript got published in Aquatic Conservation: Marine and Freshwater Ecosystems.

I accepted a research assistantship working with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on a project investigating the effects of disturbance on an imperiled crayfish.

I presented proposed research at the Annual Cooperator's Meeting in Little Rock, AR.

I joined the Magoulick lab as a PhD student.

I joined the Magoulick lab as a field technician.

I accepted a PhD position at the University of Arkansas.

I attended the 9th Annual Emerging Researchers National (ERN) Conference in STEM in Washington, DC.

I was awarded the Distinguished Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Arkansas.
