I am currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow with Dr. Brent Murry and Dr. Christopher Rota at West Virginia University. We provide statistical support to the Ohio River Basin Invasive Carp Partnership as well as to the Mississippi River Basin through the Data Analysis Workgroup for the Invasive Carp Advisory Committee of the Mississippi Interstate Cooperative Resource Association. Learn about our work here.

I completed my doctoral degree in Biology at the University of Arkansas with Dr. Dan Magoulick in June 2024. My dissertation focused on how drought, invasive species, and stream permanence affected populations of a native crayfish species in Arkansas and Missouri. Learn more about my PhD research here.

I completed my bachelor’s degree in Biology and Mathematics at Youngstown State University (go ‘guins) in 2018 where I worked with Dr. Alicia Prieto Langarica and Dr. Pamela Harris on geometric properties of Kostant's weight multiplicity formula, Dr. Richard Ciotola and Dr. Colleen McLean on fern community structure, and Dr. Alicia Prieto Langarica on modeling songbird migration patterns. During my undergraduate career, I participated in National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates (NSF REU) programs at the University of Arkansas and the University of South Dakota. See my CV for more information.

In addition to traveling, I stay active by hiking, snowboarding, and kayaking. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and playing board games and cards.
