My research focuses on how disturbances shape population dynamics.
Disturbance Ecology
I am interested in how species respond to anthropogenic disturbances like invasive species and natural disturbances like stream drying.
Disturbance Ecology
Species Conservation
Maintaining biodiversity through conservation of native species is important for human resource availability like food, fuel, and medicine as well as ecosystem services like water purification and flood control.
Species Conservation
Population Ecology
I am interested in how populations interact with their environment and how that behavior may change over time.
